We understand that plans change. The terms below apply to all bookings at Prana Lodge and form part of our Terms & Conditions. Cancellation charges depend on how close to your arrival date you cancel.

How to cancel

Only written cancellations are accepted. Please email your cancellation to reservations@pranalodge.co.za and make sure you receive written acknowledgement from our reservations team. A cancellation is only effective once we have acknowledged it in writing.

Individual bookings

• 30 days or more before arrival: no cancellation fee.
• 15 to 29 days before arrival: 25% of the total booking value.
• 7 to 14 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking value.
• Less than 7 days before arrival: 100% of the total booking value.

A no-show (not arriving, without prior written cancellation) is treated as a cancellation of less than 7 days and charged at 100%.

Group bookings (8 or more adults)

• A non-refundable deposit of 25% is payable at the time of booking to secure your rooms.
• A non-refundable deposit of 50% is payable 90 days before arrival.
• Full prepayment (100%) is required 60 days before arrival. Final rooming lists and requirements must reach us 30 days before arrival.
• Bookings made less than 60 days before arrival require full prepayment at the time of booking.

Group and peak-season cancellations (20 December – 10 January, and the Easter weekend)

For group bookings and for arrivals during these peak periods:

• Less than 60 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking value.
• Less than 30 days before arrival: 100% of the total booking value.

Refunds

Where a refund is due, it is processed back to your original payment method, in South African Rand (ZAR), within 14 business days of your written cancellation being acknowledged.
